Taupo is a relatively small place, and if you have a car it's easy to move around. There is no difficulty if you're walking to the city. The motel is relatively kinda far from the lake. What a super place to stay. We stayed in a Lakeview Spa Studio, had our own in-room spa bath that you could laze in while watching the big T.V. 50 sky channels made our stay even better. “Excellent Stay, spotlessly clean, staff friendly and helpful.”

Very reasonably priced for the standard of accommodation. Very clean with good facilities in rooms. Good Location, friendly helpful staff. No problem recommending it. Free parking (many bigger hotels in NZ charge you for this).

Beautiful modern motel. Spotlessly clean throughout and finished to a very high standard. Spa bath was lovely and the bathroom was clean and modern. Complementary tea, coffee, hot choc was a nice touch. Sky tv with sport and movie channels. Will definitely stay again if we return to taupo and would recommend to others. Great value for money!!

Our stay at Beechtree was great. We emailed while on the road that morning and wanted to include a massage which Jacqui kindly organised at the last minute. Great package, price and room. The spa bath was great too! Thanks.
