Stayed here with my teenage son and found the place really enhanced our trip. The motel's swimming pools made for an extra bonus, something to do while not doing touristy things, and being hot as well as cool suited both the younger and older family members! We stayed here in early 2013 and really enjoyed ourselves. As you read elsewhere the place has been there a while but the outdoor facilities and friendly owners make it all the more comfortable. Have stayed here a few years ago so decided to try for a one night stay as many motels seemed only to go for minimum 2 nights. From first phone contact to departure a marvellous experience and so friendly. The outdoor pool was devine and so refreshing. A great place for a family stay.

How lovely to still have genuinely friendly and helpful people running a Motel. Treats on arrival, nothing was a problem, swim towels offered and units stocked with everything, including the guest soaps and shampoo etc. AND room serviced daily!! I always stay here, at least once a month. Units are the older style but very clean and spacious. The indoor heated swimming pool is just great. Often take my wife for weekend away and the hosts are just great. I highly recommend this Motel to all.

I usually stay here when I travel to New Plymouth for work. It's not flash but the units are clean, spacious and well looked after. I like the pools especially the hot indoor one for tired drivers! The service and care is wonderful with the heater on when I come in late and little extras in my room. Good value... More
