“Best Bed!”

Great value, extremely clean, best bed I've come across in a motel for a long time! Lovely linen. Location perfect, within walking distance to the cente of Paihia but still quiet. And to top it all off, a genuinely friendly host. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights in April and found the motel exactly as previous reviewers have reported. Everything was as it should be, especially the quality of the bed and linen - top class. “Excellent stay”

Our family of 4 stayed two nights just after Easter, and had a very comfortable room, much better standard then the usual motel rooms you find. Paul was most helpful with booking tours, and general knowledge of the area, and NZ in general. If we are ever up this way again, we would definitely stay here again.

“Great location, very hospitable owner”

Paul was extremely hospitable when we arrived and even shouted us a beer. The Motel is close to shops and restaurants but still in a calm and quiet area. The room we stayed in was clean but a bit small. Next time we will be in Paihia we will book a bigger room but definitely at the Dolphin.
