Even though the Deco City Motel is on the main road the heavy drapes and the absence of traffic (Napier goes to sleep after ten o'clock on a week night) meant that I had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was on time and good value.

This has been my home away from home since Clint and Robyn opened 15 years ago. Great place to stay, clean, modern and friendly. Sorry, had to rate fitness centre but they do not have one. Have also taken my family here while away for business and they love it too. You wont regret staying here.

We stayed here for one night and the woman at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed comfy and the spa bath a lovely treat. It's not idea for walking around as it's not in the heart of restaurants and such, but if you have a car I would certainly recommend staying here.

The motel rooms are clean and spacious and seemed to be fairly quiet.Not to far out of town. Host very friendly and jovial! The lady in the office was very patient and helpful in booking motels for our next stops en-route to Wellington
