My husband and I stayed here over the new year. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. Our room was clean, and had a porch with a lovely view of the inner harbor. It is a great value, and the customer service was great.

The tile says it all. Every room faces the river and marina, stunning views and lots to look at. A huge balcony and in the shade in the afternoon heat was great. We had a wonderful stay here during early December. Very helpful owners thank you. Definitely recommend top floor for views and balcony etc. Great location and close to everything for walking i.e. town, restaurants, Kaiti hill, marina etc.

The Senator overlooks the harbour and is a short walk to the town centre and some good restaurants. Our second floor studio was large, comfortably furnished and had a small terrace with nice views. Unusually for New Zealand we didn't find the receptionist either friendly or helpful, but for a motel stay this is no big deal.

This is another of those New Zealand "motels" which has a kitchen, sitting room and separate bedroom. Very good sized rooms, and they all face on the harbor. One block from three good restaurants and LiquorLand. Good value.

This is a great motel. This was my second visit, and both times the service has been excellent and helpful. The rooms are big, and the view great.
