I booked for a superior poolside room for our stay in Broome. The room allocated was actually facing the road with no view of the pool whatsoever. I went back to reception and said. it was a bit of a stretch calling this a Superior poolside room and was totally misleading with the room more like a "donga" and facing... More

I stayed here on the evening of the 8th of June following working offshore for 5 weeks, I was pleasantly surprised with the bright clean hotel reception and the accommodation was comfortable, I was disappointed that the wifi signal was a little poor and by the time I managed to connect to it my time was almost up. The receptionist... More

First impressions are good. Fairly modern and the rooms have a good warm feel to them. The shower in my particular room was horrendous. Very large, but the water pressure was not more than a dribble and the temperature was hardly controllable, either too hot or too cold. Location.....quiet. A good 20-30 minute walk to town and a bus ride... More

We spent 4 nights at the Mercure in Broome. On arrival it was obvious the entrance and surrounds are overdue for attention. Seating in the Reception area sags & is obviously old, as is the counter. Worn paint, outdoor furniture devoid of stain & preservative, pathways in need of attention are the things a visitor sees on arrival. The rooms... More

This was our first night of three with two return visits over the next two weeks. Our room was fine overlooking the park. Breakfast a little disappointing. Full breakfast was served with a bowl of spaghetti, two hard eggs and a cold sausage, not nice. Coffee ran out with the chef going to the store to obtain coffee. Water was... More

I stayed her for my honeymoon. In a context where I am a Le Club Gold member, got upgraded to one of the best rooms in the house (Privilege room - overlooking park, then Bay). Kindly provided a free breakfast daily for me and my wife, too. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but James, the Front Office Manager,... More

We live and work in the kimberlies and stay in Broome often. We stayed at the mecure for work and would not normally stay here. In the end it wasn't too bad. The rooms themselves were pretty old and dingy and the restaurant was terrible however there were a number of positives about this place. The location is great, being... More

I am a member of the Accor Club and therefore stay at Accor associated hotels. This hotel was not up to the usual standard of Accor. Our room was small and poor in quality (extremely weathered furniture) our bathroom had shower curtains with mould at the bottom of the curtain and on the shower tiles. It had no soap holder... More

I have been staying here for years as it is the only hotel in the Accor group that is close to home which is still 500km round trip. For the price this hotel still charges it needs to complete a wee revamp to justify the pricing as there are many other hotels in the area which are far better and... More

Very dissapointed with this hotel. Facilities, cleanliness and room were well below par. Impossible to work in room as so dark. Grubby and certainly not up to the standard I would expect. No biscuits, no toaster, tiny fidge and old and dank bedding.
