We stayed here for two nights and opted for the small attic room at the top of the house which was fine for us with very little luggage. The room was beautifully appointed, with a great bathroom and amenities. The conservatory area was fantastic, especially for whiling away afternoons with a selection of magazines, tea and cake. Stayed 5 nights, mostly in a room giving onto the tranquil garden,very quiet, staff most helpful, breakfasts addictive, evening meals (from supper of toasties to confit chicken) delicious. We'd be very happy to come back

Beautiful setting and ambience excellent. Had Garden Room for 2 days, excellent! Service and staff VG. Moved to attic for last night due to inability to extend, very small for two suit cases and stairs not desirable.

Islington is a very small hotel with a warm and cosy atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size. Felt we got value for money. Gorgeous historical house, with lovely rooms . We stayed in newer section and although decor was mixed with old and new it made for a lovely setting. Breakfast was great and the chef is a credit to this hotel. Only downfall was that we felt it was overpriced in comparison to the many similar places we have stayed in.
