Managers are doing the job of maintaining the motel (clean rooms, maintenance, etc) but it is not apparent that they are managing the property (unruly guests, OH&S issues, etc). I stay here whenever in Rockhampton for work. Its good, honest accommodation. The rooms are always clean. The owners are exceptionally friendly. The air conditioning works. We chose this motel because it was the first on the way in and we were going to be late. It was a short drive to take away shops for dinner. The room was very tiny and I would say over priced compared to others in town.
