This lodge is very well run by Kiri and Peter very helpful polite and knowledgeable a good place to stay a short walk to town and the beach is a five minute walk, can book reef tours from here to the Great Barrier Reef it is closer to 4he reef then Cairns

We stayed here for 2 nights over new years 2012. It is definitely budget accommodation. The staff are great, really friendly lady at the front desk. The rooms are very old and worn. Close to the beach and It has a pool as well. Really chilled hostel and seemed clean. Off street parking. nice people seem to work there and helped me out . There I was happy with my stay and no complaits.
