This hotel has a lot of character. It's a little older but is well maintained and has a comfortable feel to it. The restaurant is TOP NOTCH. The food is excellent and the service is very good. The breakfast buffet is the usual, but better than most. A must do when in Cairns. It's convenient to the boardwalk. More

Only a short drive from Cairns airport, plenty of parking space, good food in restaurant, clean comfy rooms, guest laundry and only a short walk from the sea front (NOT a beach). Breakfast costs extra but is plentiful and there are lovely surroundings to eat it in. More

We flew into Cairns before driving to Brisbane. Found the hotel clean & comfortable Breakfasts were good. It was also convenient fro a 5 min walk into the main area of Cairns for access to shops & other eateries. Tropical style hotel which had clean and tidy rooms at a very reasonable rate. Deck area where you can sit and relax along with the swimming pool area as well. The food in the restaurant was excellent & prices were in line with most nice restaurants. More
