“Older Hotel, but clean”

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was arranged by Qantas Vacations. The hotel is old, the rooms are small, and the A/C is sub-standard. “Excellent hotel, probably one of the best ones in Cairns”

Very Nice hotel with nice views, gardens and palms landscape. Excellent breakfast to enjoy at property. Impecable Concierge service specially for the tours to the Coral Barrel. Confortable rooms, with desk and wi fi service. I definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in cairns.

checked prices on internet on expedia always good deals, just wanted a night in cairns away from the rainforest to have dinner and drinks .So glad we stayed RSL across the road cheap meals and drinks anywhere later. Located right on the Esplanade in Cairns. Only a short walk to loads of restaurants and the Marina. Large rooms and in good condition. Got a brilliant deal with booking.com spent a lovely night in cairns then slept like a baby in the king size bed. Breakfast included in the deal and was a buffet breakfast fresh hot and really enjoyable. Couldn't fault anything at all except maybe the size of bathroom

Typical Holiday Inn so don't expect anything fancy, small bathroom, uninspiring rooms, etc. The advantage here is the views of the mountain as other people have commented here so I would recommend getting a room with a view.
