Stayed here in November 2007 based on recommendation in Lonely Planet. Postiives: Room was very clean and large. Negatives: neighborhood a bit seedy, linens were clean but worn and threadbare, room was full of large moths, surroundings a bit noisy. All in all, not the best but passable.

The room is old but big. The bedding is very good ( Queen size). A large kitchen with cooking facilities can use. The location is very close to CBD. The price is not too bad for a large room.

The rooms are V-E-R-Y run down. The receptionist will not help you so get your information somewhere else. Great location.

Excellent value for money accomodation. Stayed there for one night and booked it through the Vistor Information Desk at the International terminal. Rooms are very decent for the price i payed...just 75AUD!!! Really great for visitors planning on being out the entire day or transiting through.
