Our cities are over run with chain hotels in the downtown region of the city. They do a very good job and tick all the boxes. Sometimes you just need somewhere more like home a place that is quite and a place to relax after a long day. . I stayed at Chester's in October 2010; I was looking for... More

We read the reviews and went there for our two-nights stopover at Brisbane. Our stay at this boutique hotel was up to expectation. The hotel is very small in scale with only ten rooms. But the rooms are very new and of elegant modern design, which is what we really prefer in choosing hotels. For the basics, the bed is... More

This tiny hotel in Brisbane is a little gem. I had chosen this delightful Hotel by looking at Trip Advisor, reading the reviews as you do. Chester Hotel lived up to the hype. Good location, very quiet street and room. Clean and comfy well appointed throughout. Has a clean modern bathroom, walking robe, with comfy gowns and slippers, ironing board... More

This is an intimate hotel- reasonable position- 15v - 20 mins walk to central Brisbane. Excellent local restaurants. Outstandingly quiet for our first night arrival after long haul flight. Lot of good dvds to use- free internet access - excellent coffee. Very classy decor and room. Very friendly welcome to Oz- thanks a lot - we'll be back. More

A small hotel, the owners address you by name, impeccable cleaniness, new and large beautifully furnished rooms. The quality of a top end hotel. More

We stayed for one night only, getting away from the kids. We didn't want a corporate style hotel that would feel like a business trip, and Chesters fit the bill beautifully. The streetscape is a bit off-putting (there's a used car lot over the road) but once inside you neither know nor care. Apparently it used to be the owners'... More

I have stayed here on a few occasions when up here on business. It is a wonderful space, beautifully converted into a chic yet homely hotel. The rooms are great, with huge bathrooms and comfy beds. The bar on the top makes a great spot for evening drinks especially on a summer night where it gets the breeze. Breakfast is... More

When I walked into Chester's hotel last month I didn't know if I was in a ski lodge or an art Gallery. The Entrance & common areas are spectacular. The room was good and the service was also. This Hotel was more to what I would expect to find in Europe. It was also close to where I had my... More

I stayed at Chester's Boutique Hotel in March and my stay was fantastic. The hotel exceeded my expectations in everyway. It was clean, modern and definitely had a wow factor. The room was much larger than I had expected and I had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was also included in the price. The Hotel was also within easy walking... More
