I've just spent 2 nights visiting my parents who have come here every year for 3-4 months. The park is beautifully laid out unlike some of the surrounding parks. Cleanliness is a credit to the owners. This park also has the benefit of wallabies, galahs and lorikeets at feeding time in the afternoon. Highly recommend a stay here if you... More

We are on our third trip round this huge country of ours in our caravan and each time on our homeward journey we come to Sapphire Caravan Park for real relaxation. It would have to be one of the best caravan parks on our entire trip, even though you are actually in a park, it feels as if your are... More

We are an older couple who travelled from Winton to Blackwater, staying in motels and caravan cabins along the way. This was without doubt the best of all the accommodation that we experienced. Its price per night was very competitive. All the previous reviews on this site speak of the same friendliness of the proprietors, the cleanliness of everything, the common... More

We've been travelling around Australia off and on for about 3 years now. This place wowed me from the start...all those little things that you would like to have have been covered. Whether it be a tiedown post for your annex or a proper drain for your white water. The amenities whilst small were absolutely spotless and nice touches here... More

Five star!!! Everything was wonderful. The amenities were well presented and well stocked. We had gone there to attend a wedding nearby and were using three billy boulder cottages, ours was the Lizard Lodge which we feel was the best. Half way point in the park close to pool and bbq shelter. The only things we can think of to... More

This park is wonderful. It is amazing what two friendly and hard working park owners can do with a bit of spit and polish and good old fashioned values. We stayed for several days and found the amenities were always spotless as was the park grounds. The setting is in the bush with animals roaming and birds flying through. It... More

What a wonderful place to be! I had looked up on the interweb for a place to stay in Sapphire to take my husband on his first fossicking trip to Qld in our first ever hired campervan and although the photos looked wonderful they trully don't do the place justice! The owners and the people who visit there are what... More

We were lucky enough to stay one night in the Sapphire Suite and were amazed from the moment we drove into the park. The owners are so friendly and full of great advice about what to see and do! Our cabin was absolutely beautiful, with a bottle of wine in arrival, candles all around the cabin and a huge bathroom.... More

What a delightful surprise, this park was even better than we thought. The park is well set out and the sites are generous and shady. The camp kitchens are the best we have ever seen and are a great place to socialise no matter how big your group. The owners were welcoming and friendly and kept the whole park immaculately... More

Soo very clean and incredibly decked out.....there was even cutlery, plates and cups in the camp kitchen!! Friendly warm staff, quiet surrounds and good atmosphere. We had two kids and had booked at another campground however they rang us at the last minute to say they had double booked our site and had nothing left. Sapphire kindly made room for... More
