definately overpriced for what you get. we payed $500 for 3 nights. But darwin is very expensive for accomodation. We found the staff to be helpful and rooms clean. An easy walk into town, to the Mindil markets and botanic gardens but the area just sleazy enough for us to be careful to stay on the lit side of the street later in the evening. Darwin is an expensive city for accommdation, and based on that this was reasonable value for its good location. Walking distance to town and waterfront, but quite a walk to the wharf area. Rooms are clean but small. Experience with 2 staff members - one reasonably friendly and helpful; the other was totally disinterested and almost rude. Nice pool area.
