You don't visit Ayers Rock to sit in a hotel room...... This hotel was fine; it was a comfortable place to sleep and clean up. It's probably going to be a lengthy walk to your room from reception. The prices are the middle ground for the Yulara resort - Sails is generally more expensive and the Outback Pioneer is generally... More

I flew to Ayers Rock with my elderly parents for a 3 night stay. After our complimentary transfer to the hotel from the airport, we were welcomed by friendly reception staff and given a map of the resort and directions to our room. Our luggage was taken to our room by the porter. I had booked a Deluxe Rockview Room... More

We stayed here for one night and the room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was good as you needed it. The room location was quite a way from the reception and the walk was quite annoying when you have to drag suitcases in the heat and the flies. The prices are really expensive but you are part of... Whilst the hotel was quite expensive, the location, quality of room and service made the stay most enjoyable. The dining, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding as well as the tour, arrival and departure service by counter and valet staff. Indulge yourself, it is worth it!

First need to remember this is in the middle of a huge continent, miles from anywhere, in a harsh environment and you are only there for Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Rooms are spacious, air-con is good, nice balcony and pleasant sitting out at night. Small pool, which is great in heat of day. But, you are there for the sights... More

We stayed at the Dessert Gardens during our recent stay. The rooms did require at least one deep cleaning, but if you can live with spiders, dirty floors, and needing new sheets everything will be okay. The staff at the hotel were nice and helpful. The resort as a whole is basic, meets your needs. Considering we were their to... More

We stayed at Dessert Garden from June 6-9th.We love the simple and cozy lobby. Friendly front desk staff have taken so much time and shows only patience in dealing with multiple requests. Maya of Front Desk, really stands out. Good spread of breakfast (though wish the continental is available from 6 am at least). Even though we find the pre-packed... More

Stayed in two rooms for our family of five adults. TV in my room never worked properly despite maintenance working on it. Although you don't go to Ayers Rock to watch TV. Accommodations were adequate. Food and drink was incredibly expensive but yummy. Highlight of the stay was "Sounds of Silence" dinner. We stayed for 2 nights and that was... More

Hotel services were as expected: Clean & large rooms and bathrooms, well keep hotel. Services were great. Ground transportation between hotel and other amenities is free. Only beef, if any, was the lack of WIFI in the rooms and speed of WIFI in the lobby.
