I was here for a few months so I got to see alot of things that went on and got to know the front counter staff. Free internet when you "like" their Facebook page and many other perks like free sports equipment rentals including table tennis is nice. Kitchen is small and cramped and could use newer kitchen wares. I... More

Positives: Cheap, ideal location (Center of the CBD), friendly front of desk staff, sufficient facilities, adequate rooms, friendly guests. Improvements: A lil more tolerance in regards to long serving tenants towards to new guests, lounge room needs more seating, kitchen can be a lil bigger, and consideration of night lights, speedier WiFi. Overall I have enjoyed my stay and previous... More

We were told we could get free airport transfers twice and then told on the day we couldn't. They did let us in the room a bit early which was good. Our 'twin' room had bunk beds... Was small and dingy and unclean. Bathrooms in a state too. Loud noisy clientele and no one told them to be quiet. Music... More

I stayed here for 3 nights as a solo traveller in a 10 person dorm. The location is great, and is certainly the best feature of this hostel. However, the downside of the location is that it gets very noisy from the street outside, although I was lucky enough to be in one of the rooms not facing the street.... More

Dormitories reasonable but bathrooms and toilets filthy and smelly. Booked to stay three nights but left after one. Only stayed that one night because it was too late to go anywhere else. Location good for city accessibility but who wants to wash in a filthy bathroom.

Arrived here and did not know where to head in Australia so we figured we would get our feet underneath us in Sydney. Stayed in a 6 man room with the most annoying "old" man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Beds are terrible but what do you expect. The bathroom and showers were well kept for the amount... I stayed here just to that my wife could finish her shopping before leaving back for Singapore. It was the right hotel that we picked up. At the center of George Street and Pitt's street it is located close to shops, malls and restaurants. Our room did not have a window and was very small but we did not mind... More

I made enquiries and booked online from New Zealand. We were offered a four bed dorm for the private use of myself and two sons. The rates for our three night stay were very good..(about one night in an apartment equivalent.) I found the staff to be pleasant and friendly, communications with them via the net were answered promptly and my... More

I stayed as part of a 9-man group after a night out at the casino, so no sharing with complete strangers. For the $30p/p per night we paid, I thought it was alright. It was clean, and I even saw a cleaner in action. Yes, it was a little noisy with street noise as I think all rooms face the... More
