Have stayed at the Swiss a number of times and it doesn't disappoint. Nice rooms (although its great if they upgrade you), good bar and friendly staff. The location is also great - literally steps away from fantastic shopping. Whilst it doesn't have the spectacular foyer of some other hotels its usually good value for money.

On the positive note, Swissotel is at a great location. Very convenient to explore the city as it is right at the center of the city. You can walk or jog to a lot of famous tourist attractions like Darling harbour, Opera House, Mrs Macquarie's Chair, St Mary's Cathedral etc. Rooms were clean and compact. Swissotel is at a very good location, surrounded by shops, train station and eateries. The bed was comfortable, however the arm chairs in the room need a bit of cleaning as they smell. Swissotel provided a very friendly & comfortable environment with good amenities suitable for business or pleasure travel. It was comparable in price and centrally located in the CDB. I will definitely stay there again.

I booked a club room, v comfortable bed, great view. Slightly dated in style. Good service & choice of breakfast in club lounge. Concierge v attentive. Perhaps more toiletries available but I am sure a call to reception & they would have provided.

Meh, nothing special and the rooms are becoming dated. Staff need training in professionalism and customer service. Not bad, but could have been better. Good thing.... its location! ............................
