Stayed in the spa suite room with my husband. Room was luxurious and immediately felt like home-away-from-home. The staff were very professional and courteous. The hotel's standard guide book had a detailed guide to different tourist attractions in Canberra, which was great as we didn't have a very clear idea of what to do or where to go. The hotel... More

We booked during Floriade so everywhere else was very expensive and busy. This hotel was OK - just OK. it's a very average 4* property. No WiFi. The staff are helpful, but the cafe / bar is overpriced. The rooms are average and most look out onto the carpark or Northbourne Avenue. More

For an average hotel it is what it says on the packet. Wifi is expensive and not great. Weak signal, hung and constantly logged off.. Chef is not good unless you like your food incinerated. Good choice on the menu but beware and specify how you want it. The staff were friendly though and the room was very clean and... More

Tired, outdated, a step back into the 80s. The aircon in the room is noisy, the bathroom is tiny, the breakfast absolutely inedible and the staff couldn't care less. We had the cheapest muesli they could find, muffins 100% chemical and the eggs clearly made from powdered eggs. We asked for "a la carte" breakfast and they didn't know what... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night and on check in we thought the receptionist gave us every bit of info we could possibly need. Shame she forgot to mention that we would have $100 charged to our credit card as a matter of course just in case we caused some damage to the room. I would have thought... More

We decided to go to the Renaissance exhibition in Canberra. We have stayed before at the Pavilion and found their package deals good value. Breakfast included and two tickets to the National Gallery. We did not spend much time in the room which was more than adequate - comfortable bed and bathroom. However we did make use of the pool... More

I think you'd have to be very picky not to enjoy your stay. We had a very clean, comfortable room with all the usual amenities. We stayed for two nights, with a very good breakfast each morning. We spent time each evening in the Atrium, enjoying a drink and a read - no one hassled us to buy more drinks,... More
