The welcome was rubbish, the room is large but soulless and the TV is unwatchable as it is so high. The restaurant is gloomy and breakfast not included ( though the continental at 65 was OK). Although the hotel was a bit remote from Palenque (it was necessary to take two collectivos, one to the main road going to the ruins, and then from the main road in), we loved the grounds surrounding the hotel.
