What a great find! I'm working near Portsmouth at present and have sampled a few hotels and B&Bs so far, but this is the best. It's a charming little cottage, set in what I would call a "Midsomer Murders" type location (which I would call a good thing!) with very friendly and helpful owners, who made me feel very welcome... The owner was friendly and helpful when booking by phone, and on arrival, made sure I had everything I needed.I was impressed by all the thoughtful little extra touches provided ( toiletries/spare razor kit etc). My ensuite room was clean, pretty and although I stayed on an extremely cold night, beautifully warm. Due to its country location, it was beautifully... More

My (American) husband and I stayed here for one night in October and enjoyed it very much. The B&B is situated in a small village with one long main road. The owner couldn't do enough for us and we had a very welcome cup of tea upon arrival. The rooms are all on the ground floor and located around a... More

Me and my husband spent the night of our wedding here. Such a lovely, private place to stay. Gorgeous bathroom and bedroom. Very clean and welcoming! Would stay again. More

I booked this as an overnight stay whilst visiting the theatre at nearby Chichester and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be. The "rooms" are actually self-contained little suites in what I (presume) are the converted and beautifully rennovated out-houses from the main house. They are reached via a well-maintained trellised courtyard which even in October was a... More

I stayed just one night but it was lovely, the welcome was very friendly and Silma was keen to provide anything I needed for my stay. The room and everything in it was immaculately clean, the shower was amazing and the TV was a cut above those you usually find in a B&B. I will definitely be going back. More

This is a lovely charming place to stay and total value for money. The room was not the biggest but it was cosy and we have paid twice as much for a room smaller elsewhere. However as everything is so thoughtfully done using all available space the size becomes irrelevant. All the products are good quality. The breakfast was superb.... More

This is a very good B&B. Rooms are set around a central courtyard where breakfast is served if the weather holds. We stayed in room no 1, a twin room. It was a little snug but it had a lot of thought put into it. I particularly liked the dressing table and fabulous Ole Hendriksen products. There was a good... More

We stayed here becuase our friends were getting married nearby. Silma and Family were extremely hospitable and so helpful (sweetly providing lunch when we realised we didn't have time to make it to the pub and back before the wedding). The courtyard outside is a lovely spot for breakfast, reading and relaxing. Would definitely return for a weekend break as... More
