Nice, new hostel. Owner was vey friendly with very good English. Rooms were lovely. Only 4 stars as breakfast, whilst it was good, not as good as others we've had in brazil. But super hostel all round. The buffet at the restaurant was also very good and worth having whilst on the island. Traveled April 2013 as a couple.

Unlike many budget options in Abraao, Biergarten gets the basics right. Rooms -- as well as bathrooms and linens -- are spotless. The dormatory with four beds was really good. Each bed have a bedlamp, you have your own locker and the communal showers and toilets are clean. The atmosphere is relaxed and soft. Easy to sleep at night, cool people staying there. Nice staff, friendly and easy. Good breakfast. Communal computers. Good value!

This popular little hostel is well located a street back from the beach and only 5 mins walk from the main jetty. Great place. The place is brand new. Very clean. The breakfast is good. Showers are clean. Room had AC. The lockers are too small to store a backpack, but big enough to store all your valuables and a lot more. Best hostel we stayed in during our stay in Brazil.

Brilliant hostel. Clean and well equipped. Best hostel on the island. Was really easy to get to the tours and trips. Less than 5 minutes walk to anything you need. Owner is really friendly. This place gets booked really quickly. They only have 17 beds. Book way in advance.. you won't regret it! Highly recommended.

Our group booked the eight bed dorm on the first floor and stayed four nights. The room was really clean, hostel decor is modern and it's a relatively new hostel so facilities good. This hostel seems essentially brand new. Unlike most South American hostels it looks like it's actually been built by a licensed carpenter, and a very good one at that!
