We stayed here with our two young kids early may 2012, for four days to enjoy the Harz. Zu Den Rothen Forellen is a very good hotel, although five stars is probably one tad overrated. Nice and quiet, didn't charge extra for anything, friendly staff, good breakfast.

We booked at last minute. For the price we paid (Euro145), it is reasonably good hotel. It has all the facilities one needs. Good pool and sauna as well. Breakfast is included. Staff are very nice and professional in the restaurant, in particular thanks to Mr Sven Jansdik for the superb service.
