The vassos apartments are typical 2 star holiday apartments. The are typically Greek and as Greek accommodation goes they are reasonably kitted out. They kitchen had a kettle, good fridge, double drainer, one tap which ran hot or tepid depending on time of day. There were plenty of cups knifes glasses etc for the 4 people the 2 bed apartment... After reading other reviews we knew what we were getting, a basic appartment in a beautiful villiage. Very lucky as upstairs so able to open the windows and view was breath taking. We are regular visitors to Lindos and have been since 1996. We have stayed at various appartments some very good some bad. The Vassos appartments are admittedley a good size with two large wardrobes in each room. We stayed in room three which is on the first floor with splendid views over Lindos bay and the village below the acropolis.... More

Apartment basic and furniture dated, (but aren't they all in Greece.?) and it is afterall only a two star facility. But the comfort and room was more than adequate; the view of the bay lovely, (you need one of the apartments on the first floor), and the location in Lindos could not be bettered.

We stayed at the Vassos a few years ago. I have just seen it on Olympic for £1649.41 for 2 weeks in August. This was the worst accomadation we have stayed in when visiting Lindos.
