I have been to Le Touquet many times and most times I have stayed at the Red Fox. The location in the centre of town is perfect, but beware the noise at nights. The hotel is split across two buildings. The original 2 star building and a newer building opposite which is 3 star and know as the Annexe. The... More

visited the red fox again as on tour playing golf, would like to say the annexe across the road is worth booking. Hotel in great location if you want to be right in the mix of the town.If you want peace and quiet dont stay here choose one of the hotels on the outskirts of town.

First of all, le Touquet is a joy of a town. It is very 1920s Arts and Crafts style and has some superb restaurants. The immense history of the region with the Somme battlefields being less than an hour's drive away and the town is less than an hour from the channel tunnel link means that is is accessible. I... Let me start by saying how friendly the reception staff were. That said, I would not stay here again. The rooms we booked had 3 single beds in- though how 3 people would cope in these small rooms is beyond me!The bathroom was tiny, and the bathroom door blocked the way to the shower, though the shower itself was powerful.... Stayed 3 nights at the Red Fox in early May 2013. There were 8 of us on a golfing break travelling in 3 cars. We all had rooms to ourselves on the 4th floor which had apparently been recently refurbished. The beds were good but the rooms are compact and the bathroom even smaller! The hotel is very centrally placed... More

We went to Le Touquet for just an overnight stay as part of a French shopping trip. It's a nice distance from Calais - not too far and yet far enough to feel like a real break from the UK. we wanted to stay in a central location so that bars, restaurants etc would be on the doorstep. We weren't... More

Good as it's central to the town's bars and restaurants, bad as the noise they generate can keep you awake at night. The early morning street cleaning and deliveries dont help either. Having said this, it's a comfortable and clean hotel and maybe the location of our room on the outside corner of the hotel didn't help with the noise.... More

Bang in the middle of all the restaurants and bars of Le Touquet. Thought there might be some late night noise given the location but slept soundly and no issues from the local bars etc. Room was freshly decorated and perfectly good - certianly better than those at Bristol and Windsor where I've stayed previousy. Excellent shower, powerful. I unfortunately... More

Spent 3 days in Le Touquet. The Red Fox is right in the middle of this semi-pedestrianised town. As with all central locations, parking can be a bit of an issue. You can book a space 'somewhere round the corner' with the Hotel at 13e per night. We tried our luck down on the Beach car park some 200m away.... More

We ended up across the road in a new secure block but the room was new and clean, albeit minimal in atmosphere. However, we only wanted a pre-ferry stop and were more interested in Le Touquet's atmosphere as a beach resort and nearby eateries. The promenade was about 5 minutes walk on a busy afternoon. The car park is a... More
