Great little find in the heart of the Dales; there are two spotless rooms in a little annexe, with every possible added extra from slippers to sherry. Thoralby is a peaceful hamlet, off the beaten track one mile south of Aysgarth in Wensleydale. The George Inn has a cosy bar with real ales, a small restaurant with honest (but not spectacular) home-cooked food and just two immaculately presented rooms in an adjoining building. Stayed here for three nights, the double room was very well appointed and even better, it was just across from the front door of The George. Excellent food, freindly welcome and a great place to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Would go back any day.
