Everything was excellent! View, location, big rooms, cleanliness. Next to hotel is a good place for dinning. And of course thanks for Angela we felt us as home. Also booking was easy. The answers to the e-mail came fast and with suggestions.

Sunset Lodge is a great place to stay on CI. This is my 7th run to CI in 3 years and you can not fault the service, the rooms or the view. As I write this I can hear the ocean pounding the shores - Mother Nature has reminded us of her power with squalls and high seas all day,...

My original stay on Christmas Island was meant to be for only 2 nights, but due to flight issues I was found stranded on the Island for another 3 days and on Chinese New Year Weekend.
Thanks to Angela this was not an issue, one phone call from the airport had me pick up and a room ready for me...

I was only in Christmas Island for 5 nights but managed to explore the majority of the island from my comfy base camp! The Sunset is in a great location near to all of the required ammenities. The room I had was large and clean. The manager/owner was great, she knew all the tricks and tips about how to get...

Located at the Settlement, this lodge is within walking distance of restaurants, post office, visitor center, Flying Fish Cove. Very convenient location. Great view in the evening of the Indian Ocean. Peaceful and quiet. Had a most wonderful stay, watching the red crab migration and forest trekking. Rooms are clean and spacious. Highly recommended.
Quiet, cleaned daily, own bathroom, some rooms over look the ocean and see the setting sun, short walk to pub and restaurant, on site parking for your hire car, need to book advance, all rooms have fan and air conditioning, the red crabs can bee seen around the hotel during the spawning season,
The place is named the Sunset for a reason. The views are magnificent! Angela ia one of the friendliest hosts you could wish for. I was really impressed that before I asked, she had worked out that I was leaving for the airport in the afternnon, and so she offered me a late checkout without even being asked. The Sunset...
