I have stayed at The Vineyard about 15 or 16 times in the last 7 years, summer and winter. It is consistently excellent. Beth and George are wonderful hosts. The rooms and facilities are faultlessly clean, the food is excellent. Unpretentious, honest quality. Book now.

We stayed at the Carnwath Vinyard B & B for 2 nights recently and cannot fault it in any way. Beth and George were welcoming and helpful beyond belief. The breakfasts were amazing - Smoked Haddock, Smoked Salmon with scrambled egg, Full Scottish fry up with endless supplies of tea or coffee. The rooms were clean, warm and airy with... More

Both myself and my husband booked into this gorgeous bed and breakfast during a recent visit to long standing friends in Carnwath. This 4 star accomodation speaks for itself and more than lived up to its marketing on the website. But what really makes this accomodation is the special place it is the family that run it. From George and Beth,... More

George & Beth offered a very warm welcome to the Carnwath Vineyard. The accommodation was of a very high standard, lovely and clean and warm. The food was excellent. We would definitely recommend them to both friends and anyone who wanted accommodation in that area.

We have stayed twice with George and Beth Hamilton during September 2012. You could not wish to meet a more welcoming and genuine couple. Firstly, George insists on carrying your luggage from the car where street parking is available, to and from your bedroom. Value for money awards 5 stars. Rooms are very clean and warm. Flat-screen TV, bedside alarm,... More

I have stayed at the Vinyard on a number of occasions over the last four years on business. The proprietors George and Beth are most pleasant, welcoming , diplomatic and appropriate in all their dealings with customers. I agree with RachelMcM - who said "all the luxury without the stuck up attitude". Also the best full Scottish breakfast I have... More

I thought I'd struggle to find somewhere good to stay in the tiny village of Carnwath but I was wrong. The Vineyard is better than most 4 star hotels I've stayed in. All the luxury without the stuck up attitude. The family made every effort to make sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay there... More

Myself, my husband and two friends stayed here whilst visiting our daughter to attend her birthday party and as her friends were staying in her spare room, we stayed at the B & B. It was a lovely relaxing break and George and Beth were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very kind and helpful.... More

The Vineyard is our favourite place to stay (so far) in the whole world. We feel at home with George and Beth who take care of us so well. We always sleep well and with the traditional Scottish breakfast we never leave hungry. The location is perfect for us visiting family as well as being a route to many sights,... More

Hosts George and Beth Hamilton (and their daughter) can not go any further to make us welcome, feel at home and entertain. We arrived late but they still let us use their dining room for our takeaway food - George even made us a cuppa and then let us drink our wine in their dining room! The bedrooms were fantastic,...
