Another chain hotel, totally overpriced, not offering anything special. The only positive thing being the location (oposite the train station), apart from that I would not recommend it at all. Rooms were old and badly refurbished.

The hotel was a typical Mercure in terms of decor but when you're on your way home after several weeks away there's something comforting about the familiar and not finding any idiosyncracies. At the end of a very long day this hotel was a complete delight. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast provided a very wide and fresh choice. The only disappointment was that they appeared to be unable to provide an evening meal for our group. I would certainly return here so that we could explore Chambery further

We arrived only to find that our Disco would not fit in the car park (max height 2.9). No problem said the receptionist, park it out the front which we did. We enjoyed our stay, the room was a reasonable size, clean and air conditioned. Staff and management were very helpful and friendly. Our booking included breakfast which was excellent.The location is good, but about 5-10 mins walk to the old town and most popular eating areas.
