We stopped here overnight on our way to a wedding in Wales, a warm welcome - fantastic evening meal and comfortable room - overall great value and had we travelled back that route we would have repeated the stay. Welsh lamb was just superb!

The food and service was excellent. The owners (I presume) were very friendly and helpful. Just how proprietors should be. The room we stayed in was average, very clean but we couldn't turn the heating down, so had to sleep with the window open. We would recommend eating there at least once in the evening. I have visited the white house on many occasions, only living 10 minutes down the road. the food is fantastic cannot be faulted, the staff are all welcoming, the landlady is lovely and will always ensure everything with your food is okay.

My room was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. The hotel has a good atmosphere and is in a beautiful setting. I need to go back to that area soon, and fortunately the White House has a room available.
