Our golf society used O'connor's as a base camp. We played Lahinch, Gort, Galway Bay and Doonbeg during our stay. The rooms were large, clean and had plenty of storage. Our bathroom was large and modern, with a very good shower...you could make the water smoking hot; if needed. We received fresh towels everyday. The morning breakfast was very good...I... More

Our group of ten golfers stayed four nights at O'Connors, and couldn't have been more pleased. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Joan was always there to help whether arranging taxi drivers or back ups when the taxi driver doesn't show, or providing ice for our whiskey. Breakfasts were great with options galore. She made outstanding recommendations on restaurants and... More

I have recently stayed in this guesthouse and there wasn`t anything that I wouldn`t accept from a guesthouse like a bit of noise on the top floor, and quite hard toiletpaper which would be a disadvantage if you wanted to stay more than 1-2 nights.. The staff was helpful and I had already counted the tip when SOMETHING HAPPENED.. It... More

My niece and I enjoyed staying at O'Connor's Guest House in April of 2013. The room was large and the en-suite bath even had a large bathtub and separate shower. That was the only tub we saw in our entire trip. The owners, Joan and her husband, were very accommodating. She helped us negotiate with next b and b owner... More

If you want your stay to be comfortable and relaxed, look no further than O'Connors in Doolin. Modern and spacious whilst only a two minute walk from the local pub! Staying on the upper floor was excellent providing a view over the surrouding area - and O'Connor castle ruins. Excellent breakfasts complemented the stay.

We came to stay in Doolin because we went to visit the Cliffs of Moher during the day, now initially we had a different place booked, but for some reason the people from that other B&B that shall not be named here weren't "home", I know really weird but it happened, fortunately we had the great idea of driving further... We hadn't booked and arrived after dark, so while pleased to find accommodation, we were delighted with the very spacious room we were given on the ground floor.  O'Connor's is perfectly situated in an area which offers so much variety for exploring and is just a short walk from the pubs and great music. Loved the breakfasts, too.

This is the perfect place to stay in Doolin. It is very central(2 mins walk to the village hotel) and yet lovely and quiet for a good night's sleep. Joan is the perfect hostess, knows all the best places to go and provides a wonderful breakfast each morning. The guesthouse is really comfortable and immaculately clean. Rooms are spacious and... Joan O'Connor was great as a host. The room was large and comfortable. The bath was huge and modern. Joan made a fire to warm us on a cold day. The house is very close to pubs and restaurants with some within walking distance. If we ever go back to Ireland we would definitely stay at O'Connor's.
