...so don't waste time browsing through all the reviews for B&Bs in Doolin. I'm sure they are all nice, but Fisherman's Rest is where you want to stay. The location is perfect, the breakfast is delicious, and we were greeted as old friends by our hosts even though we had never seen them before! Danny is counting on your sense... More

very clean and comfortable, but I felt very uncomfortable with Danny being over familar. A hand on my knee while having my breakfast is just a bit much. Expecting to hug and kiss guests is a bit over the top and I was upset for a couple of days about it

I visited Ireland with my father and met up with one of his old Irish friends. We drove around Ireland and made our way into Doolin one early evening and decided to find a room. We cam across Danny at Fisherman's Rest. Danny is a great soul and full of life. Three of us stayed, with one of us staying... More

Great hosts, perfect rooms, perfect breakfast and centrally located in Doolin. We think of Mairead and Danny being the nicest couple we met. We will definitely visit Doolin again and will surely stay at the Fisherman's Rest.

Came to Doolin to enjoy the music in the pubs. Found this bed & breakfast close to O'Conners Pub which has great traditional Irish music. Danny is the owner and one of the funniest people you will ever meet. The place was very charming and Danny fixed us a wonderful breakfast.

We steered a group of six to Doolin after two other great trips to the small village for music, food and pints. One of the closest B&Bs to O'Connor's Pub (home base) is Fisherman's Rest. We found one nearby with rooms that were slightly nicer, but immediately gravitated here because of Danny, the owner. Danny had everyone in our group... More

It is a wonderful, cheery place in a lovely small Irish village. Danny did a great job at making us feel very welcome. He made his home the most comfortable place I stayed at during my trip to Ireland. Mary Pat Coleman

If you don't want to joke, laugh and speak to people, dont go there!! Incredible stay in Doolin on July 20, 2012. Danny is such a character! It felt completely like home: lovely room, cute bathroom, delicious breakfast... Only downside was the bed which was a little too hard... A tiny little detail compared to the amazing hospitality of Danny.... More

Our stay with Danny and Mairead was so much fun. The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable, breakfast delicious. ThIs B&B is just a few seconds walk off the main street of Doolin, very convenient - yet quiet. The breakfast room looked out onto the most beautiful green hills - magnificent! Very reasonable price. If we return to Doolin it... More
