We stayed at Brook Cottage for two nights in May 2013. We were hiking the Wicklow Way, and our hosts made us very welcome with coffee and cookies when we arrived. The cottage is charmingly decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and we were happy to have a choice of cooked breakfast items, from the "full Irish" to... More

What a great starting point for Ireland. After traveling all day we made our way to brook cottage. It was wonderful. Out in the country, we had a quiet nights sleep. When we arrived we were tired and worn out. Mary offered us a sandwich and fruit. It was perfect not to have to run out again. Would highly recommend.

This B&B is tough to beat! Mary is such a gracious and kind host who makes you feel welcome right away. She really goes above and beyond to get you settled in. For example, we arrived a bit early (3pm) and she invited us in and made us tea and sandwiches before we crashed for the night to sleep off... More

First of all, Mary is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is comfortable. Second, the cottage is in a beautiful location, nestled in the Wicklow hills, right on the edge of Powerscourt. The Wicklow Way is just a mile up the road and the lovely illage... More

If you are looking for respite from your busy life, some peace and quiet in a lovely setting this is for you. The host Mary was very helpful regarding local restaurants, directions and even helped us book our next stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Best fruit in the whole trip. The location is a little farther out of town than described... More

Our welcome at Brook Cottage was a wonderful way to start our Ireland vacation. The B&B is neatly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin. Mary and Jeff were superb hosts - Mary rescued us when we got turned around in the village of Enniskerry and Jeff offered us travel to our dinner spot. We began our stay... More

A quiet country B&B, close to the Wicklow mountains and a reasonably short drive drive (<1 hour) Dublin airport. A bit hard to find and quite remote. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The owners are helpful and informative. The breakfast that was served was very good. For the location, the cost is a bit high unless... More

Stayed: New year's eve 2009. The landlady was away, but her husband took a great care of use. The cottage is used mostly by deer hunters. We did a couple of hikes in the area and enjoyed the warmth and access to a fully equipped kitchen in the house.

It is worth going to this part of Ireland just to stay here. The owners are very nice and helpful. For example, they drove us into Enniskerry so we could eat dinner at a PUB and then picked us up afterwards. Our room was fine, the breakfast was one of the best I had in Ireland, and they had a...
