We recently stayed at Craglea for 3 nights, and highly recommend it. The view from our room was gorgeous, overlooking the sea and Lahinch-Liscannor coastline. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. While the owner wasn't there to greet us on arrival (I believe she is a nurse and... More

We had a lovely view from our room at the Atlantic ocean. The breakfast was nice with salmon, other option was Irish breakfast. The host was friendly and had good advice what to do in the area. Free Wifi. Good shower.

We passed through Lahinch unexpectedly this past weekend, and unlike the rest of my itinerary, this wasn't planned and so we weren't sure where to stay. We found this B&B and rang the bell, and she showed me the room she had available. It was stunning and spotless, and for the very reasonable rate of 30 euro pp, we took... More

We had no itinerary as we traveled along the coast and barely spotted the Craglea Lodge when looking for a bed at 10pm. Surprised by a wonderful warm welcome after ringing the bell. Edel Kenny (proprietor) invited us in and encouraged we look at the rooms available before making any haste decision. The rooms were absolutely perfect. Ensuites, loads of... More

A buddy and I were biking in West Ireland for 2 weeks and we had a 2 night stop here so we could golf at Lahinch Golf Club. The accommodation was spacious and inviting, and the hospitality and breakfast was first-rate. Edel recommended Kenny Pub for dinner and we loved the atmosphere and food enough to go there both evenings.... More

This was the best B and B we stayed in on our trip. Luckily we had booked three nights! Edel was great and if you are missing your dog-you have Draco to say hello too. This was the only B andB that really had home baking. The room was beautiful (as were they all-I peeked) and it was an easy... More

My husband and I traveled southern Ireland for our honeymoon and this was the last B&B we stayed in. Talk about saving the best for last! This B&B was in a great location. It was within walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants and pubs. The B&B was clean and our room was incredibly spacious. Our room also had a stunning... More

Had a great stay at Craglea. Massive room with a chandelier and a view of the sea and a wide screen tv to watch the olympics. Nice addition of fresh baked scones each morning as well as fruit and a selection of cheeses. The tea and coffee and biscuits in the common room means that you can meet fellow guests... More

Being a seasoned traveller.. Back packer etc was absolutely horrified how I was treated in this b&b. The landlady waited up for me. Told me to get in or else she was locking d door. She was less than welcoming on arrival. Overall verdict.. We are not on trial. Would never ever stay here again. From a well travelled primary... More

I was going to give this four "circles" instead of five; however, it is the only B&B whose owner was willing to serve breakfast early for the golfers in the group (just two of us.) That meant breakfast at 6:30. The rooms were very nice, there was a common sitting room with coffee, tea, cookies, etc. (only two of four... More
