Stayed here on a sat night with my gf, we were tired so went out for dinner and a pint and went for a relatively early night at midnight. The band playing downstairs might as well have been in the room with us. The door to the bathroom didn't close as it had swelled beyond the frame. For the money... More

Recently returned to the Shamrock Hotel for a family occassion.Unfortunately my food was very disappointing.Potatoes were wet and my veg was overcooked and again water logged , fish was tasteless. As for the Chowder and guinness forget it.You need to take advice form the Chef at your sister hotel in Liscannor , great Chowder and great food. We didn't stay at this hotel but we ate at it last night. I can't rate it highly enough. The food was homemade, great quality, fresh produce and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. Every effort was made to find tables for people who were waiting to be served and the owner/manager was very friendly. We had our 7 year... More

Stayed at the Shamrock Inn, Lahinch for a surfing weekend and found it to be good value with friendly staff. Great location right on the main street in town, on the doorstep of all shops/pubs and 2 mins from the sea. Rooms a bit dated but clean. Exceptionally helpful staff sent on a sweater I had left behind me! Full... More

We, 4 guys mid-40s or thereabouts (from IRL, GB and D), arrived in Lahinch on spec from Germany to play some golf, and needed a roof over our heads. Shamrock Inn was the first place we checked, smack bang in the middle of main street. We looked no further. It had everything we needed. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, great hospitality,... More

I enjoyed a brief stop at the Shamrock Inn. If you want a taste of Ireland with Irish staff and Irish hospitality, you could not go better than this. The decor is not modern but is clean and homely and the bar and dinning area welcoming. Breakfast was great and the Guinness good. Wifi in the Bedroom was convenient and... More

Cost was 35 PP B&B. Room 18 was big. Both the room and bathroom were clean, but... More

The Shamrock Inn is a great place to stay in Lahinch and its centrally located in town. We stayed on a dinner package and ended up eating here again the second night. Food is excellent (I will be going back). They had music both nights we stayed here and the place was very lively. But the best thing about the... More

I stayed in the Shamrock in for work. Originally i was booked into the Atlantic next door but it was being refurbished so got moved. Rooms are basic but comfy and clean. There is also a very large and powerful shower (some hotels you get a trickle) Only disappointed thing about the room is you only get 3 channels -... More
