We stayed at the Auburn House B&B for 5 nights and contrary to one of the other reviews listed here we cannot fault the accommodation or the friendliness of either Nanno or Cathy, they both took the time to chat us and ensured that we had everything as we liked it. Cathy asked us on the first day how we... More

Having a family break in Clare, six of us stayed in Auburn House B&B in Lahinch in June 2008. I would advise you to strongly rethink staying there. The bed I slept in was half of a bunk bed (which was seperated to act as two single beds). I got my feet stuck in the rails at the end twice.... More

We enjoyed a nice two night stay at the Auburn House. We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and the showers were fine. The inn is run by Nanno and Cathy. She was out of the country and Nanno seemed a bit stressed with the running the inn and running the family but was very friendly and pleasant.... More

Stayed several days at this B&B not to far from Shannon Airport while touring western Ireland. Our room was large and had picture window view of the sea and was clean. However, accommodation was missing many amenities. Most things were on the sparse side. The owner was very pleasant. Location is very nice and just a block from the sea.... More

Maybe it was just bad timing... nasty wind and cold for a July visit, but we just can't say anything outstanding about this place. The innkeeper was very nice. Our room was the family room upstairs. On our visit to Ireland we stayed in charming, lovely places, but this one is just plain average.

Great place, wonderful views, and best of all walking distance to the town. Free parking and good for children as well. Everything was just as expected....

In planning a trip to Ireland over St. Patricks Day, I had the pleasure of dealing with the Auburn House in Cork City. Kieran made it so easy to book a room from the U.S. and he actually phoned me personally to get all the information needed (instead of me making a long distance call). What can I say -... More

This is a nice and sunlit B&B - across the road from the ocean with beautiful views and a very short walk (2 minutes) to the center of Lahinch. A great base if you are interested in the Cliffs of Moher or any of the other surrounding sites. The rooms have no TVs, but are en-suite. The B&B has a... More
