This hostel was not very clean (I found a coke-bottle under the bed), the linen feeld a little damp and the sitting area dounstairs was not comftable. The TV was always on and very loud. The kitchen wasn´t clean at all so we washed everything bevor we used it. I guess this is a hostel for joung guys going surfing.... More

I have stayed here a few times [whenever i wasn't invoved in picking the accomodation]. It's fine - a grand place to come with a group of friends. But I find the bedrooms and bathrooms VERY basic in comparison with a place i stayed last year the West Coast Lodge, which I thought was newer and fresher, and we had... More

We spent a night here while travelling up the west coast and were bitterly disappointed. The decor is old and musty and the place could really do with a clean. We were shown to our room where the linen clearly hadn't been changed since the last people were there, one of the beds even had someones wet surfing towel under... More

Fair enough the hostel is cheap but you get what you pay for. We got two dorms for 4 people each. tiny would not even come close to describing how small the rooms were. NO space to move, the bunks were so small that you couldn't even sit up in them. One of the rooms didn't even have plugs so... More

WIth the great weather decided to head to Lahinch for some surfing and pints. Wanted to keep it cheap so managed to book in here the week before. Located at the top of the town beside the church, it's very central and about 3 minutes from being in the water. Stayed in a 4 bed room, very clean, bit small,... More

We landed into the middle of what looked like a fully fledged teenage disco, complete with screaming teenage girls in mini dresses and botttles of beer and alcohol everywhere - even the guy checking us in was drinking a bottle of beer. In the 10 minutes we were in our room, our door was banged on and the shouting and... More

We stayed here last week and with it being out of season had none of the noise problems, mentioned in other reviews. The hostel is basic and the decor does need updating, but was clean. It also needed some maintenance work (there was no handle on the inside of the dorm, so hard to get out!). The room was also... More
