I would say "don't miss," but I would hate to see this gem become too popular. The people are so friendly and accommodating, the food is fantastic, and the hotel is simply perfect, in every way. The best description I have for this delightful place: it's as if you are staying in a friend's country home (assuming that home is... More

We stayed in many excellent properties on our recent trip to the west of Ireland but Moy House has to be our favourite. An incredible view across to the Cliffs of Moher from our bedroom while warmed by a peat fire in the grate and drinks from the honesty bar at our side was perfection. Knowing that both Christine and... More

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in Moy house. It is the ideal location for a romantic getaway. We found it to be excellent in every way. The staff were friendly, helpful and very professional, our room was of a very high standard, with complimentary robes, slippers and L'Occtaine products in the bathroom. We also enjoyed... More

If this is not a 5 star, nothing is. Gracious service, superb food, generous and charming space, a very warm and relaxing stay. It was the first of four places we stayed in a tour of southwest golfing country, and we wished we could have stayed there indefinitely. I hope to return some day. More

my golf foursome stayed at moy house while playing lahinch. what a class act! brid o'meara and her staff went out of their way to expedite the delivery of our clubs which we had shipped ahead and got stuck at customs. despite arriving very early in the morning, they gave us a room to freshen up and leave our luggage.... Can't say enough about this place especially the excellent staff especially, Brid & Caroline. Stayed here August 5th for a special occasion and i couldn't have asked for it to go better. Brid was fantastic even when i booked, asking was it a special occasion, when i informed her i was going to propose that night, she upgraded us to... More

Looking back on our summer trip around Ireland I feel I must praise Moy House. I have been lucky to have travelled around the world and stayed in wonderful hotels but I have to say that our short visit has put Moy House right at the top! Wonderful cuisine in a sublime setting. Push the boat out and sample the... More

What a gorgeous spot for a beautiful place. As you drive up the winding roads, one can see this large white structure standing high and alone on a rolling green hill. We were greeted by Breed, the general manager who did everything in her power to make us comfortable which she did. Our room was very nice and looked out... More

Approaching Moy House you pass through the ugly new construction that characterizes the excesses of the Celtic Tiger years. If you can forget that (not easy) Moy House itself has a great setting and our view from the Well suite was indeed superb. But at 360 euros a night the suite is overpriced - one can hear footsteps and noise... More

What a great place to stay in Ireland - close to the Shannon airport, fabulous staff, phenomenal food and a relaxing environment! Loved Moy House - like staying in your own house, so welcoming! Cannot say enough great things about it - also loved visiting the countryside around Moy House. County Clare is highly scenic with extremely warm people. More
