Stayed at Dromoland in June for two nights. The accomodations were satisfactory, not plush, but clean. No air conditioning, so our room was stuffy and hot at night. The spa facilities were poorly designed but the services provided were excellent and the spa staff was especially attentative. The spa product line is exceptional. One night our dining experience took almost... More

This is the most amazing experience! We booked this as our special treat for a 50th Birthday present in Ireland. It was everything we expected it to be. The staff are amazing and nothing is a problem to them. The standard of service is exceptional. Our room was incredible with the most amazing view!! The gardens and castle are so... More

This is a wonderful location - the water, the grounds - and the whole set-up is instantly impressive. As are the good food, excellent wifi and clean/comfortable rooms. But what really makes your stay here so memorable are the people and the activities on hand. The falconry is simply good for the soul and Dave is an excellent guide. Dennis... More

We knew that this Irish Castle Resort was beautiful as we looked at their website...BUT it is way more than beautiful. It is a wonderfully preserved castle and fit for Kings and Queens which we are not....But we loved feeling that way. The staff came to greet us as we arrived at the front entrance after driving a long lovely... More

This was the best hotel and dinner of our CIE tour. Elegant indoor space and beautiful property and setting. Friendly and helpful staff eager to serve and answer your questions. Would have liked to spend much more time there.

On our recent trip to Ireland we spent our first night at Dromoland Castle Hotel. It was a great way to begin a wonderful trip. The property itself is beautiful & very historic & yet it has an excellent leisure club. All the people we dealt with were helpful, kind & knowledgeable. The castle itself is very elegant & could... It was a November weekend when we stayed, so a bit off season. There were lots of events going on, a wedding, a conference and people just taking time out. This really is a special place, lovely setting and magnificent grounds with a wide selection of activities to avail of. This is a period building with the gentle waft of... More

My fiancé and I stayed here and loved the experience. The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were enchanting. We loved our lake view room and having high tea by the fountain was memorable. We played 9 holes of golf and enjoyed the walk as much as the game. It's expensive but worth the splurge.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I wanted to stay in an Irish "castle", but was afraid this was a little commercial and we might be disappointed. I am happy to say it was a great experience all the way around, my only regret is we did not spend enough time there. We only stayed 1 night and arrive... More

This was our first trip to Ireland, we booked through Authentic Ireland. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and found the room to be a great size and inviting. We stayed for two nights, May 16&17. Experienced our first High Tea, wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, staff was friendly and gave great suggestions on things to do. The... More
