We booked all four cottages at Abhainn Ri for my relatives from the UK and USA who attended my wedding in April. It was a great family re union. The cottage was fine and pleasant for me. The owners call them luxury cottages. Generally this means in self-catering lore that bedding and towels are provided - can also mean, one or more ensuite bedrooms. All three bedrooms were ensuite here, one with a bath which also had a communal door that could be unlocked. 'Luxury' can also mean facilities... more

We had a fantastic weeks holiday at Abhainn Ri. The cottage was immaculate and exceptionally well equipped and to a very high standard. The wheelchair facilities were excellent with a wheel in shower and grab rails wherever needed. The views were beautiful and it was very calm and peaceful. A car is needed though as the cottages are quite isolated.... more
