We ended up here after the Golf Hotel let us down and how happy were we they did.On arrival David met us and was so welcoming and friendly, a genuine Kerry gentleman. Our room was fresh and clean, finished to a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic so fresh tasty. This is the place to stay in Ballybunion. Stunning.

We stayed for 5 nights in this outstanding guest house. The accomodations, ambience and breakfast were all first class. We have stayed in other hotels, guest houses in various places and this is the best. Room was very comfortable and warm as the weather was cold and windy. David was a delight and we so enjoyed his company and especially... More

Just back from a few days golf in Ballybunnion and stayed at the Tides guesthouse. This is by all means a 5 star guesthouse, from the warm welcome on arrival to the fantastic breakfast no stone is left unturned. We were immediately upgraded to the suite room at no extra cost. The room is out of this world. David was... More

We were moved here because at our original booking the Golf Hotel was having problems (heating?) What a great find. The owner David is a golf nut which suited us to the ground because so are my parter and I. The room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner's recommendations for local eateries also proved very... More

Stayed three nights and already planning to go back next year. Rooms, hospitality and breakfast all first class. Have stayed in numerous hotel and guest house rooms, and the one here was by far the best. David has a story for every occasion and was very helpful with information about the local area.

David and Doreen were outstanding hosts on our last minute booking. They upgraded our room to the suite which was excellent. We were traveling with our 4-year-old that came down with a cold. They were very accomodating, helpful and understanding during the entire stay. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and we never needed to eat lunch because of... More
