We are not golfers, but sailors who love the ocean. We have stayed at dozens of B&B's, and this was absolutely the best ever for facilities, service and price. Our room and bath were spacious and phenomenal--luxurious bed and linens, huge windows, whirlpool tub and tiled shower. The common areas are elegant. John and Deirdre are so gracious and breakfasts... More

We went here so my husband could play golf at the famed Ballybunion golf course. Cashen House was right across the street and down the road. The owners made all his golf reservations and even put it on our room bill which just made things easier. The Cashen House is beautiful. Our room was huge and bright. The bathroom was... More

Two of us on a golf trip through Ireland stayed at the Cashen House for a couple nights. The hospitality was exceptional and the rooms were spacious, clean and practical. We got great recommendations for dinners, and the breakfast was very, very good. Perfect location for Ballybunion golf club and the town as well. Highly recommend! More

We booked the superior room with spa (#7)...room and ensuite were huge..certainly achieved the 'wow factor'. Great value for money. Bed comfortable and room very clean. A great place to stay for golfers as it's within walking distance to the club house. The staff were friendly and obliging. Easy parking. Wi fi connection available but not strong – laptop ok,... I recently vacationed in Ireland with my husband and our two adult sons. The highlight of our trip was playing golf at the famed Ballybunion Golf Course. Since the town is so small I wasn't expecting much in terms of luxurious accommodations. Boy was I surprised! The Cashen Course House is magnificent!!! It's located directly across a tiny lane from... More

This was our second trip to Ballybunion, and I was disappointed that our first choice guesthouse (Teach de Broc, where we'd stayed previously) was full. I didn't think TdB could be topped, but I was about to be pleasantly surprised. Cashen Course House is a large, sprawling detached house, with a great big driveway in front of it, separated only... We recently spent 3 nights at Cashen Course House. Among our party of 3 couples, there were 3 golfers (the men) and 3 non-golfers (the ladies). The location of this B&B is perfect for playing Ballybunion. The rooms and bathrooms were huge and clean. Our room (#9) had 2 beds (a large bed and a small bed), a leather sofa,... More

I chose Cashen Course House for its proximity to the golf course, and the fact that they offered a 'stay and play' package. The bedroom was large and clean with basic 'hotel-looking' furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a large jacuzzi tub, two sinks and a large separate shower. Our room overlooked a cow pasture... More

Part of a group of 8 guys who stayed 2 nights and played 2 rounds of golf at Ballybunion GC. The accomadations were great and located just accross from Ballybunion with the Clubhouse just a couple of minutes away. Each of our rooms had two beds and a full private bath. Breakfeast was huge and ready as early as needed... More
