Just completed a 14-day trip to southwest Ireland in September. Stayed at Ashgrove House at the front and back end of my tour. An absolutely lovely B&B along a country road, quiet and relaxing, about 1km from Bunratty Castle. Sheila and Frank are kind, accommodating, gracious hosts, a pleasure to meet and chat with. Always willing to help with pickup... More

No accommodations on my two week trip to Ireland could come close to Sheila and Frank's Ashgrove House. In fact, few attractions I encountered could provide the level of entertainment I experienced those two nights just interacting with and listening to this fine and very funny couple! They really went above and beyond when it came to being helpful and... More

Every vacation has to start someplace and out Enchanted Way Tour of Ireland started at Ashgrove House. What a fantastic start to a wonderful tour. Sheila and Frank arranged our pickup at the Shannon Airport and the house was a marvelous treat from the moment we artrived. We were treated like family and they went out of their way to... More

The company of the owners, Frank and Sheila - are unsurpassed. They excel at welcoming you and making you feel like you are one of their family members. We were so happy staying with them - they even went to Durty Nelly's with us. A most memorable evening of laughter, singing and a few drinks. I can't say enough of... More

When you are so far away from home it's so lovely to come across such warm people as Sheila and Frank. B&B's start to feel like the same house after a while but not a the Ashgrove House. You will be as welcome as family here. On one visit I was taken to a traditional Irish concert by Frank. On... More

Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfasts are fresh and made to order, scones are hot. Parking is ample and the grounds are beautifully kept. Sheila & Frank are the best! More congenial hosts can't be found. They are quick to meet or anticipate your needs, offer advice, make bookings at the local attractions. Just ask. More

We were welcomed by Frank who was very friendly & very helpful. Our room was clean but you could hear everything from the other rooms which did keep us up at night. We were not offered any tea upon arrival. The eating area was in need of some TLC but the breakfast was very good. Sheila was very helpful in... More

Sheila & Frank Tiernan really know how to make a visitor welcome-Irish coffee upon check-in, no matter the hour. They were very helpful with directions, driving tips & attraction info. The dining room is the gathering place to meet with them & other travelers--good times, excellent breakfast. I would advise everyone to go by way of Shannon Airport & stay... More

Had reservations at park house, but they couldn't accomodate us properly in the two separate rooms we reserved. They could have split us up into two separate B&Bs, but our son was going to the airport the next day and we wanted to be in the same bldg as he. He wanted to be with us, too. The neighbor luckily...
