A hotel i will definitley return to, i stay in irish hotels at least once a month through out the year and although the level of service and food is generally good, The Grand in Tramore rose high above the rest, the steak dinner i was served in the hotel bar simply could not have been improved upon, it and... This hotel is oldy worldly. Great views if you get a room with a view. You have to psy extra. Too far if you want a walk on the beach. Food is very good. One of the waitresses is excellent. Coffee is revolting. Rooms are clean. For an old fashioned kind of hotel the right entertainment was missing. Friday nights... More

After reading many reviews about the hotel, we approached our weekend stay with much trepidation. However, our experience was not as what we expected. Yes, the hotel's decor hasn't had a facelift by what appears to be since 1980, but our room was clean and had heat. It is a listed building with 90 rooms trying to stay afloat in... More

It's been 3 years since we last stayed at The Grand. The "grand old lady" is showing her age but this still does not detract from the charm of the place. A warm smile to welcome you at reception from Grace and the bar people who are always most willing to please. The bar food is good and in ample... More

stayed in the grand from 19th march 2013 for four nights, she's a little drab on the outside but on the inside she's a little gem, quite old fashioned but very clean , almost expected to see miss marple sitting at one of the tables, a lot of the bedrooms have a sea view which is a lovely panaramic view... I stayed her for a girls weekend in Tramore. Don't be fooled by the lazy seaside resort. The nightlife is kicking. And Saturday night revolves around this hotel. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are so friendly and accomodating. Grace on reception couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. When one of my friends had... More

Stayed in this hotel for two nights in March 13 with three friends.
