I was going to put a 4/5 because I found the furnishing and general decoration of the place old and that it could do with a little refreshning of some sort. But then I thought about the lovely landlady who's doing everything in her power to be helpful and kind without ever intruding on your privacy. She's really sweet and... More

I brought a friend from New Zealand to Donegal so she could experience friendly and beautiful rural Ireland. I had never been to Letterkenny before but decided on visiting there so we could go to Glenveagh National Park and some nearby beaches. While I was expecting a friendly welcome as is typical in rural Ireland, I was not prepared for... More

Lovely comfortable room with a proper firm bed. Television in room. Wide selection of breakfast types available. But do not ask Maureen to chat when she's doing the toast. Lovely lady helpful and friendly. A real Irish welcome awaits you. Thank you so much. Maureen McGarry-O'Hanlon, Isle of Barra. More

We stayed in Maureen's wonderful guest house from Friday to Monday. From the beginning Maureen was the perfect hostess, making us all feel welcome and comfortable. We wanted for nothing, the service and the rooms were first class, and the fantastic breakfast set us up for each day. The breakfast room view is truly wonderful. If you ever want to... More

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed it. The location is good (5 minutes from downtown Letterkenny), and the room was comfortable, but small. The place could use some updating, but it's still good. There is free wifi access, but you cannot access it from your room. More

We've known Maureen for several years now, and wouldn't think of coming to Ireland without staying a few days (usually a week) at her place. She's a wonderful lady, so full of attention and so caring! I travel with my 91 year old mother and we're sure that everything will be perfect for her. We enjoy her house, the rooms... More

We arrived for a four day stay with Maureen in October. We were welcomed with tea and cookies in the lounge. While relaxing after a long day of sight-seeing, Maureen gave advice and information on places to dine and sights to see in the area. She even provided us with brochures. Each morning while serving us nourishing and hearty breakfasts,... More

This is a lovely b&b, about 10 minutes walk into Letterkenny itself. Maureen is a fantastic hostess, and is a gem with local knowledge and what sightseening is essential in the area. Breakfast is fab, and the view from the dining room, sets you up for the day. More
