I've stayed at Oceanville B&B many times now, with each stay as great as the last. The location is excellent, overlooking The Burren and Galway Bay. I slept like a baby all 5 nights, which is highly unusual for me. The room was clean and bright, charming in decor, and generous in space. Kathleen's breakfasts are in truth feasts for... More

We stayed only one night with Kathleen at Oceanville but wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and comfortable with free wifi with a view of the ocean to die for. Everything was as you would expect from someone who clearly knows how to run a B&B. well done Kathleen, we loved it! Monks restaurant next door... More

We spent four nights in Ballyvaughan. We were there right on the cusp of the high season, so things in town were a little slow, but we couldn't find anything wrong with our accommodations at Oceanville House. Kathleen is a wonderful host and the house is within easy staggering distance of several pubs/restaurants, including the incomparable O'Loclainn's. Breakfast was top-notch,... More

My wife anr i stayed here last week. If you want to experience rural hospitality you will not fine better. Our landlady Kathleen was superb and most welcoming. The room very clean and what a view, The old saying if you could 'bottle it' you would be a milionaire! The breakfast was to die for also. Keep up the great... More

Nice view, nice room, good breakfast. I cannot understand though, in a village where the closest ATM is at 20km, how can they do not accept cards?? I liked my stay here, but I wasted a lot of time to get cash to pay. The zone is full of B&B, next time I'll try another one.

We ended up here after a long day of driving and lucked out because the place next door (Monk's) was filled up. Loved the view and the room with a nice sitting area in front of a window overlooking the small harbor and Galway Bay. Breakfast room overlooked the same and the food was terrific.

My wife and I stayed one night here on a driving tour of Ireland and loved it! It is in a fabulous location - Ballyvaughan is a beautiful wee village on the coast - and was very comfortable and quiet. We had a million dollar view from our bedroom window out across the bay towards Galway in the distance (see... More

Warm, friendly welcome. Spacious, comfortable room with beautiful view of the sea. Seating area in the bedroom at the window was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Great location for exploring the Burren area.

We came for one night and stayed for three. Kathleen provided generous hospitality, the room was comfortable and the view was splendid. Location was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. When I developed foot problems, Kathleen arranged for a call on a doctor (no easy task on a saturday!). We'll come again.
