For years, my mother had spoken of her visits with Pauline & Gerry and raved about what phenomenal hosts they are. We finally made our trip there last April/May, and I cannot wait to get back to visit Ballyvaughan, the burren, and Pauline & Gerry again. The room was so comfortable, the shower was like standing under a waterfall (so... More

We absolutely loved this place and Pauline and Gerry were fabulous. The whole experience is just wonderful. It has that rare combination of feeling that you're pampered but yet still visiting great friends. They really know what they're doing and it shows in every detail. There were 5 of us and we all just raved about how great it is.... More

I would highly recommend!! Pauline and Gerry were gracious hosts. The rooms are very clean and charming, and the breakfast delicious! It is right in town and easy to walk to pubs and restaurants! You should definitely stay here if traveling near Ballyvaughan! More

We stayed one night in Ballyvaughan Lodge and it is certainly one of the best guest houses that we have stayed in. Location is perfect on the edge of Ballyvaughan village which is perfect for exploring the Burren area in Co. Clare. The room was really nice. Breakfast had a large selection of fresh fruit, cereals and a choice of... More

Loved our stay here. Absolutely gorgeous place to stay in Ballyvaughan. The breakfast was delicious - what a feast. Pauline and Gerry were so friendly and went to the trouble of knowing your first name which made it a lovely personal experience! The art work and little touches in the house and the bedroom were lovely. Cannot recommend a visit... More

We've been staying at the Ballyvaughan Lodge during our trip for two nights. The place is absolutely perfect: Beautiful decorated rooms, delicious high-quality breakfast and - best of all - two very friendly hosts - dear Pauline and Gerry, thanks again (especially for getting up early to make breakfast because we needed to head to Dublin early)! We would definetely... More

We were lucky to stumble upon this great find on our way from the Cliffs of Mohre to Galway (Glaway lost out, we stayed in Ballyvaughan). Just what we were looking for! The well decorated room was small but the bed was sooo comfortable. Lovely flower-filled deck on the front to sit in the sun and watch the cars go... More

We booked for one night and stayed for two, it was so nice. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast delicious with a wide variety of fruit and cereals to choose from as well as a full Irish. For me Pauline makes the best porridge ever, and Gerry is an excellent host and very helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there. More

Ballyvaughan Lodge is a lovely B&B located a minutes walk from the centre of town. Beautiful home in which fantastic art work abounds. Our room wasn't large, but it was very tastefully appointed and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nicely cooked and consisted of much local product. The owner was very friendly. We had dinner at the pub which... More
