A purpose-built B&B, literally a minutes walk to the centre of Ballyvaughan. Our hosts, Pauline and Gerry, were very welcoming and take great pride in providing a quality B&B experience. There were four in our party - One German, one South African, One Scot and me :-) All my friends rated this B&B as one of the highlights of their... More

We stayed here again this year for marathon weekend and as always could not fault the place.. From the moment you arrive you are made feel so welcome. The rooms are lovely each one decorated differently. Pauline and Gerry always smiling. They are so helpful and served breakfast earlier than usual without bother because of the marathon. Looking forward to... More

Arriving in very stormy weather the friendly reception by the hosts along with advice on local eateries made all the difference . They provided a great breakfast and a comfortable bed and room making this a good place to stay in Ballyvaughen .The local Italian was an excellent dinner choice and in better weather the harbour and beach is a... I recently had the pleasure of staying for my 7th year running with Pauline & Gerry, the dynamic duo behind Ballyvaughan's best B&B. I don't say this lightly - I have stayed in the other top rated B&Bs - they come nowhere close to the Lodge for a myriad of reasons. Firstly, this is the most central and professionally run... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ballyvaughen Lodge while traveling the west coast. A wonderful B&B with wonderful hosts. I recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay. If we make it back into the area again, I look forward to another stay here at the Ballyvaughen Lodge.

I stayed here earlier this week with my husband and absolutely loved the guest house. Gerry and Pauline were perfect hosts. The guest house is beautiful and very homely. The rooms were spacious yet warm and cosy. The rooms were spotless. The breakfast range was very good with cold and cooked breakfasts. I'd recommend eating at Logues Lodge and sampling... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for one night recently while we did a short road trip around the west of Ireland. It is in a perfect location, right in the village and our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfortable. Gerry and Pauline were fabulous hosts and told us about a great local pub called O'Loclainns... More

Pauline and Gerry are wonderful hosts and provide a delicious breakfast. They were welcoming and extremely helpful in mapping out our plans to explore the surrounding Burren and to visit the Cliffs of Moher, and seemed genuinely interested in making sure that we made the most of our time in Ireland. The inn is pretty and well maintained, and has... More
