What a lovely house. Very comfortable sitting room with a honor bar which was lovely in the evening. Our room was large and very comfortable. We had the most wonderful view out our window, cows in the field and the ocean just beyond. Our host gave very helpful suggestion for a very good restaurants and evening music at a local... More

Drumcreehy House was one of the best guest houses we stayed in during our recent trip of Ireland.Bernadette made us a very welcome. We stayed in the yellow cottage which had all we required and was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was amazing where Bernadette and Armin provided a very wide range of food that would satisfy anyone.... More

Drumcreehy House is a large, beautiful renovated guest house, which is more like a boutique hotel, and that overlooks Ballyvaughan Bay. Lovely spacious rooms, with a good ensuite including larger than usual shower and extras like hair dryers. Rooms are immaculate, serviced daily. There is a guest loungeroom with 24 hr free tea and coffee and you can also purchase... More

We were brought to this beautiful establishment as part of our cycling tour of Connemara (Cyclewest). Our room was clean, large, and comfortable. The view spectacular. But most of all the host and hostess were most hospitable. The staff was friendly and eager to make our visit a pleasant one. It is located in a small charming town yet close... More

We had a wonderful stay at Drumcreehy House. Bernadette made us feel at home immediately and suggested a fantastic seafood restaurant on Galway Bay for dinner. We stayed in the yellow cottage which was beautiful and the breakfast was perfect! Susan from Brisbane More

Drumcreehy House is more like a small hotel. It is a new house obviously built to be a B&B. The house rules are clearly laid out at the onset of the stay. The setting is quiet though on a busy road. The house is far back off the road. Some rooms have a nice view of the water. Our rooms... More

This was the second time I stayed here, and was very pleased to see that it is still as great as I remember it. The rooms are delightul and spacious. They provide little amenities in the bathrooms, like Q-tips and cotton balls, and shampoo and soap, that many B&B's don't. The breakfasts are way above many other B&B's, with loads... More

Our room was spacious and comfortablw with lovely views. The owner met us at the door and gave us a tour immediately; the husband and wife team are delightful people. We were given suggestions for dinner in town. The breakfast was included and was delicious, served in a charming, bright room overlooking their garden. Our group of 4 was sorry... More

We recently spent 3 nights in Ballyvaughan at the Drumcreehy Guest House and had a great stay. The house is immaculate with spacious bedrooms, a nice breakfast room and a common area. Both Bernadette and Armin were wonderful hosts, spending whatever time necessary to help us with sightseeing, dinner or other questions or even just to share an experience or... More
