I had stayed at the Tinsley House years earlier and dropped in this time with no reservation. Really, at approximately 6 p.m., my friend and I rolled into Cahir and rang the door bell to ask if they had a vacancy. Liam said that they were not yet open for the season, but he decided to let us stay nonetheless....

Tinsley House is a former antique shop with bedrooms upstairs, en-suite bedrooms with separate lounge/sitting room for guests with tea coffee making facilities. Period decor, Failte Ireland approved. Great location for Heritage, hill walking, fishing.
A family run home by Liam & Patricia Roche, close to shops pubs and restaurants, bus and rail stations near by 300 meters to Cahir Castle 20 minutes walk from Swiss Cottage.
