My wife, three children and I stayed at the Lodge for two nights in July while in Waterville to do outdoor activities organised by Michael from Mor Active. This hotel facilitated us with a family room big enough for the five of us (this could not be done elsewhere). Our stay was all the more enjoyable because of the great... More

This hotel is great for a family stay. The price is truly outstanding, rooms lovely, food delicious and the managers ( and all staff ) are helpful and are really nice. And if you don't want to stay at least drop by for some delicious food and a drink of some kind in the cool bar! It is a very... More

We recently stayed at the Waterville Lodge Hotel whilst touring Ireland. The staff and management made us feel very welcome and both the rooms and food were of a very standard. Our only regret was we only got to stay two nights. The views from the hotel are breathtaking with the sea only yards away. I will make sure to... More

Landed in waterville with some friends. Stayed here as there was eight of us and we could have two family rooms. The rooms were grand and clean. No complaints, the manager gave us a really good deal including dinner and breakfast. I suppose he was out numbered. Typical us there was a lovely dining room but we ate in the... More

This was a good stop for me and my partner traveling the ring of kerry. Two nights for 19 euro each per night. Clean modern room and a view of the bay. Had a good few drinks the first night and got up late, looked out the window, there must have been a million buses in the car park for... More

I dont like to run down any business but in all my years, this place is one of the worst hovels that I ever had the misfortune to stay in. Cold, noisy, uncomfortable and terrible food. No redeming features whatsoever. Best advice, stay away. More

When we were heading out on our first evening, we asked at reception about the main door key and they told us that there was none available (as they couldn't find one) but that there would be someone on the door to let us in whenever we returned. We returned later that night and knocked for over a half an... More

It was a cold summer's evening when we arrived in Waterville. We had noted the warning on the noise level re music but booked anyhow deciding that we would probably be in the bar close to finishing times anyhow. However we arrived on Friday night shortly after 10 and after a little searching for keys in the dark a key... More
